2021 Year 7 Seminar Series
Bethany Lyon
Bethany is our founder and director. With years of experience tutoring students in mathematics from primary school to VCE, Bethany will be running the study skills seminar and the mathematics seminar. During the study skills seminar, Bethany will help students to develop positive habits to set them up for success in future years. In the maths seminar, Bethany will simplify the difficult content to bridge the gap between primary maths and high school maths.
Ainsley Somers
Ainsley is one of our senior tutors. She has a wealth of experience tutoring English and Science (Biology) and will be running the English seminar. During this Ainsley will take students through structuring their essays and key things to look for when analysing texts. Building foundations in English (particularly essay writing skills) early is critical for success across all subjects in VCE.
Katrina Young
Katrina is also one of our senior tutors who is seriously passionate about science, especially Biology & Psychology, and building positive relationships with students. Kat will be running the Science seminar, taking students through a mock practical activity and then walking through how to write up a scientific lab report.
